Terms of Service
Effective date: September 29, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, configuring or using ContentFactory, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software or connect a third-party account.
2. Description of ContentFactory
ContentFactory is an independent desktop/local software project for assisted short-form video creation, local rendering, quality control, human review, controlled platform operations, analytics and performance-based strategy comparison. Feature availability may depend on configuration, connected services and third-party platform approval.
3. Eligibility
You may use ContentFactory only if you are legally able to accept these terms and meet the eligibility and account requirements of every platform you connect. If you act for another person or organization, you must have authority to do so.
4. Connected third-party platforms
ContentFactory may connect to services such as TikTok and Google / YouTube through official APIs and authorization mechanisms. Those services are independent and governed by their own terms, policies, availability, app-review decisions, quotas and technical restrictions. ContentFactory is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, Google, or YouTube.
5. User responsibilities
You are responsible for your accounts, credentials, developer applications, device security, configuration and every action you approve. You must review titles, captions, claims, media, privacy settings, audience settings and policy flags before publication. A successful automated check does not replace your judgment.
6. Content and intellectual property
You retain responsibility for content and materials you provide or create. You must have the rights, licences and permissions needed for scripts, music, voices, images, footage, trademarks, personal information and other assets. You are responsible for attribution, copyright compliance and the legality of publications made through your accounts. ContentFactory's source code and project materials remain subject to their applicable licences.
7. AI-assisted features
Some features may use local or configured AI-assisted generation. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, repetitive, inappropriate or legally restricted. You must verify factual claims, originality, safety, rights and suitability before use or publication. ContentFactory does not guarantee the accuracy or uniqueness of an AI-assisted output.
8. Platform rules
You must follow all rules that apply to the connected platform, including community guidelines, developer terms, content policies, disclosure requirements, rate limits, audience restrictions and rules for synthetic or AI-generated media.
9. Prohibited uses
You may not use ContentFactory to violate law or platform rules; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; impersonate or deceive; harass, exploit or endanger people; distribute malware; bypass access controls, app review or safety restrictions; extract passwords, cookies or unauthorized sessions; conceal required AI or commercial disclosures; or publish content you are not authorized to publish.
10. Account authorization
OAuth authorization permits ContentFactory to perform only the operations covered by the scopes the account holder grants. It does not transfer account ownership and does not create unlimited permission to access data or publish content. Permissions may be partial, expire, be revoked, or require separate platform approval.
11. Publishing and human approval
ContentFactory separates generation from publication. The current workflow requires a quality pass, review state and explicit local approval before a real platform write. Public auto-publishing is disabled. A granted upload or publishing scope is not standing authorization to publish any content without reviewing the specific file, metadata, audience and privacy setting.
12. Availability and changes
The project is provided without a promise of continuous operation. Features may change or stop working because of software updates, local dependencies, API changes, quotas, platform outages, revoked credentials or developer-app review. ContentFactory may be modified, suspended or discontinued.
13. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ContentFactory is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of generated content, platform acceptance, audience reach or performance results. Nothing on this website is legal advice.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the project maintainers will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the software, generated content, account actions, platform decisions, data loss or unavailable services. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Termination and revocation
You may stop using ContentFactory, remove local data and revoke connected-account access at any time. Platform operators may also restrict or revoke access. Access may be discontinued for misuse or violation of these terms.
16. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the project changes. The effective date will be revised when a new version is published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
